Data Acquisition Station

Flometrics has made data acquisition easier with the introduction of our Data Acquisition Station . In today's high-tech world, test/measurement and data acquisition has become automated. Our system allows students /engineers the ability to collect real-time data at kilohertz rates with a friendly graphical user interface -- just like today's high-tech industry. Our system has been custom tailored to collect fluid dynamics data. The system is flexible enough that it can be custom built to suit your requirements.

Features:

• Pentium 400+ MHz CPU, 128 MB RAM, 10 GB hard drive, CD-ROM drive, 3.5" FDD (other CPU's, memory, hard drive, network ethernet card, and other devices can be substituted/added for an additional fee).
• Windows 98 or NT.
• National Instrument PCI MIO-16XE-50 data acquisition card (other cards available; please inquire). Includes:
  • Up to 16 analog inputs; 16-bit resolution; 20kS/s sampling rate.
  • Two 12-bit analog outputs; 8 digital.
  • I/O lines; two 24-bit counters.
  • LabView software and license.
• Input/output interface panel with quick-connections for such devices as thermocouple and RTD sensors, pressure transducers, turbine flow meters, strain gauges, and motor controller signals (price varies depending on number and type of interfaces required).
• Flat panel monitor (optional).
• UPS power supply so the system can be unplugged and moved to a different lab(optional).
• Durable cart with heavy duty casters and 2 drawers for storage of equipment, manuals, etc.
• Includes peripheral measurement devices -- 3 pressure transducers, one electronic turbine flow meter and one thermocouple probe (additional sensors including strain gauge sensors, etc. available for additional fee).
• Power output available to control motors, valve positioners, etc. (optional).
